roxy ONE LAST KISS It must be a lucky day for me. Now, September 1, 2005 it is my birthday. As I woke up, my floor was full of scattered petals, the door was opened and I hear someone singing this song “Now that I have you”. It was king, my boyfriend, he is holding a bouquet of flowers and a box of chocolate. It was like a nice dream, a fantasy that turned into reality. As he gave me those things, I hugged him tight, kissed him like there is no tomorrow. I whispered his name and said “I love you no matter what happens, Thank you so much for being a part of my life” He didn’t utter a single word. He just smiled and then kissed my hand, kneels and asked me if I can be his girl forever and I said yes. My tears started to fall. I really didn’t expect this to happen. I love him so much, we are almost two years and I hope our relationship will last forever. I remember the day when we are in kindergarten it was our first day, Im the one seated in front. It is already my turn to introduce myself and I confidently say “I am Roxy dela Fuente, 6 years old and I love to play dolls and I cant live without my pet named buhbuh” I remember his reaction when I uttered the name of my pet he was smiling at me and I smiled back. Now, It is his turn to introduce his self. He was really nervous that time so I went in front and whispered “You can do it just look at me. Believe in yourself.” He smiled and he did what I told him to do and so he started to introduce his self. “I am King Concepcion, 7 years of age and I love to play basketball. If Roxy cant live without her pet, For me I cant live without my ball” After that we clapped. He approached me and said thank you and that was the start of our friendship. We visit each other every weekend and our parents will fetch us in the afternoon, we go to the park and have some dinner after. Our parents became friends too. We used to go in the same school but when we entered college we went into separate ways. I mean different schools. He took up engineering in MAPUA while I took up nursing in UST. We often text and see each other because of our busy schedules but despite of those things, if one of us will encounter some huge problems that we cant handle, we helped one another, especially when we talk about love. One afternoon, I was shocked someone is in our door sitting and I cant recognize him. When I talked to him it was then that I realized that he was king, my bestfriend. He is much adorable now than the last time we met. I asked him what he was doing outside he just smiled and said “I am just waiting for you, I missed you already!” I hugged him and said “I missed you too, do you have a problem? Coz you seem pale today. Wanna go inside?” and he just nodded. We proceed to the garden and we had some snack before we talked about his problem. He was so quiet actually. Im not used to it so I asked “Are you okay? Can you please tell me what is your problem, coz im really worried about you” *sigh* “alright, I don’t know how to say this” “JUST TELL ME!” I said that in a screaming way “and then he suddenly hugged me and said “I LOVE YOU FOR REAL, NOT AS A BESTRIEND, I LOVE YOU MORE THAN THAT.” I was shocked, really shocked. I don’t know what to say. “I always think of you Roxy, I cant get you out of my mind. Can I ask you something?” I was really really nervous of the question he will ask. And he said “Can you be my girl?” oh my god! Is this true? I really don’t know what to say. i didn’t expect this to happen. And my heart started to beat faster and faster “King, I don’t know, I am confused my answer is ---” “Alright, Im sorry about that. I know we are just friends in your heart, nothing more nothing less. Sorry for wasting your time. All I can say is, all the things I’ve said was true. No jokes, for real” King started to walk and his face was really sad. I ran after him and said “wait! I havent answered your question coz you didn’t here me say yes, I mean no, I mean yes--” “you’re funny! I know your answer! Thanks! I love you roxy” I hugged him right after that. Now we’re almost 2 years and its my birthday tomorrow. I wonder what would be his next surprise for me. Oops, its almost midnight, I don’t want to have some eye bags because we are going to visit his mom in their place tomorrow morning. It took me minutes to take a bath and changed into my attire. When we arrived, His parents greeted me a happy birthday and we precede to the dining room after. We ate and we had some talk until his mom said ”Hija, are you going to miss king when we leave the Philippines and stay in U.S for good?” “Of course tita, anyway is this just a joke or something?” I looked king and he was so sad. “No dear, It is for real. Didn’t king mention you that?” “I guess not tita, Excuse me for a while I need to go to the comfort room” “Mom, I haven’t told her about that, I don’t want to ruin her day just because of that” King said. When I entered the comfort room my tears started to fall I thought this would be my happiest day but I was wrong this day is worse. I can hear king, knocking the door and telling me to open it but I just ignore it. I wanted to die that time, I don’t know what to do without him. It took me half an hour before I went out. King was sitting in front of the door when I opened it. He hugged me and said sorry. I just said “Its okay, as long as you wont forget me and you’ll keep your promise that I will be your girl forever” I can see his eyes controlling his tear not to fall, he just nodded and said “I love you”. After a few days it is the time to say goodbye. He hugged me tight, kissed me and said “if you wanted me not to go just tell me, ill stay here for you” I wanted him to say but I don’t want his mom to get mad so I just simply said “it’ll be fine, besides you promised me you’ll visit every vacation you’ll get. I love you and ill miss you. Now go!” I controlled my tears, I just smiled hiding the pain I felt. “I love you more and ill miss you too” this are the last words I heard from him. He went to their car, as I watch the car to move I can’t already hide my feelings. I cried, I miss him already, I want him to stay and so I took my keys went to my car and started to drive. I drove as fast as I can until in the intersection I saw this 10 wheeler truck bumped into my seat and when opened my eyes I see a light, a doctor and nurses. I don’t know where I am. As I took a long nap, I can see king crying beside me. “I asked him what’s wrong” he just kissed me and said “I love you so much. Please believe in yourself like in kindergarten, you can do it. Don’t leave me!” “I’ll love you forever my baby, don’t be sad. Life must go on! Besides I heard the doctor said I can only stay in 24 hours. I cant wait that long. I love you so much” As I close my eyes I can hear king screamed my name and cried. That was the end of it. I saw a light and I can see a person wanted me to follow him, I just wished the person I loved most wont forget me and loved me as I loved him for the rest of my life.

roxyREVIEW REVIEW REVIEW ! EXAM EXAM EXAM ! Done with the midterms ! like hell ! that was tough . really tough . huhu . this week is the distribution of grades . I don’t want to know my grades coz I know I failed some of them . huhu . ill just make it batter next semester . that is a promise ! for me to pass the damn QUOTA ! hahate that ! so there, got my grades ., average scores though ., amf ! had a lot of problems this sem actually . I told my parents that I really don’t want nursing and I cant deal with it anymore. Mom got mad and shouted at me the first time she called . I was just being honest coz Im already ashamed of myself. They give what I want and yet ill not pass. Damn it ! I cried a lot actually , the whole day. But thanks for my relatives and friends who comfort me . that was relieving :D Final Semester comes, and the lessons are getting harder and harder each day. Ireally don’t know if I can make it. I hope I can make it :( please pray for me . im begging you . huhu . so there, 2 more weeks and then its our sembreak. My friend aya will be shifting next sem. How sad , she’s really smart but she doesn’t want nursing at all. So her parents decided and her of course to let her shift next semester . she’ll be leaving Philippines next year . she’s one of my closest friends in our classroom. She’s the first girl who approach me together with ish in our first day in school. How can I ever forget that? *sob Anyways, im happy for her. It’s the 22nd day of September already. Im here in our study hall doing nothing . coz I don’t have anything do to. And im so sleepy and tired . sorry for the WRONG GRAMMARS :D sorta tired eh ? hehe. Alright, gotta go now . roxyAUG. 20,2008 It was last week Wednesday that we don’t have classes because there was a typhoon ., actually almost all of us entire Luzon I think ., it was really cold here in baguio all day long because the rain didn’t stop . My older sisters ( I call my roommates sisters) was chatting about going out in the afternoon ., I asked them if I could come and they said yes ., so we went out ., buy some dvds and then walked around session . I was craving for an ice cream that time ., but as we walk to the ice cream house ., we saw pizza hut and we’re craving to have some . so we bought the double delight I guess ., forgot the name ., you’ll get a pair of the same flavor ., whew ! yumm ! after that we already bought the ice cream ., wee ., food trip ! harhar ., then we went home already ., we have some pictures when we are in the taxi eating ice cream ., I guess just 2 pics ., but it was a really nice experience ., I even saw 2 cute guys staring at me ., haha ., im not bragging but its true ., that happened when we bought an umbrella and then they droped by and stayed there till we get off and when I looked back they were like staring at me ., haha ! how funny :D  AUG. 23,2008 Saturday afternoon ., im with my bru pinky and we are at the bus ., getting ready to go home to la union ., then suddenly I saw this cute guy looking for a seat ., I was shocked when pinky said “KUYA CARLO” waa ., he really knows the guy ., so he went to our place ., our seat was for 3 persons so he seated beside me ., I was so “ waa ., oh my god ! he’s right next to me “ haha ., so when the bus started to move , we started to talk to each other ., pinky and carlo was talking and everything ., I was like so quite because I don’t even know this guy and im seated between them . Silence comes ., suddenly he asked pinky if what is my name and I was the one who answered back ., he said “ ikaw pala yan” like duh ? what the hell is he talking ? “ha?” I said ., then pinky told me that “do you remember the time that you are so bored that you wanted to have some textmates” then I said “yes … aww ., so he’s one of them ., hmm “ “I viewed you in friendster ., and I guess I even added you” carlo said . like wth? I cant even recognized him ., I opened my friendster everyday to see the persons who viewed me and I don’t even remember if he was in there. So I just said “okay” :D we are like so noisy in the bus that all the passengers was too quiet and just the three of us was talking and laughing so loud ., that was hella fun . oops ., before I forgot ., god ! I got tense when he suddenly stares at me and I was so like why are he staring at me ., then he said “whats this” “the what” I said ., he took off the black thingy on my face and said “this ., I even thought that you have a mole there” “aww ., thank you :D” haha ., gosh ! that is a one hella shocking ., i blushed actually but thank god he didn’t noticed ., only pinky noticed ., haha ., few hours we arrived at la union and he was the first one who get off the bus ., that was the last time I saw him ., huhu ., how sad :( but its oky ., we’re texting each other everyday ., sharing stuffs and updates :) he’s my new crush ., just crush coz I already have a boyfriend ., wee ., end of the Saturday memoir. AUG. 24,2008 Sunday afternoon ., I should be going out with my ex boyfriend and get my yearbook to him ., but suddenly things got changed ., my whole family decided that we should go to vigan ., so we started o travel at 9 in the morning and arrived at vigan maybe about 1 already ., we went to max’s restaurant already to have lunch ., I am so full when we’re done ., whew ! yumm ! i took pictures and everything ., vanity strikes baby ., haha ., after that we stroll the place ., ride in a “kalesa” bought some things then went to the hidden garden ., then after that to baluarte ., it was really hot that time ., even though I was just wearing a short shorts and a shirt I really still can feel the heat of the sun ., of course., it was a sunny day ., like duh roxy ?! haha ., we took a lot of pictures ., and some of my oictures was taken by my father or my mother ., haha ., funny bit hella fun ., so after that we are on our way home ., we bought rice cakes and corniks for my pasalubong to my friends. We dropped by to ilocos sur because I have a lola there ., the sister of my lola at mothers side. Went we went out the car ., coz we are really few ., 3 cars to be exact ., the people there were like satring at us that we are like artist ., whoo ! love it ., haha ., then my cousins and I went to the beach coz that was beside the beach ., the guys there were looking at me and saying “hi miss” and I heard them whistling ., like eeeewww ! I don’t even like you guys ., haha ., sorry if im mean ., im really like this to guys who are really “pampam” grr ! so that’s it ., after isiting my lola’s sister , we already went home. How tiring ! huhu      Toooooooooooooooooot ! roxy In our english class we had this groupings and we should pick a story to somewht summarize or sumn ., im the one who picked the story for us which came from our teacher ., and it was so damn GREAT ., so i was thinking of posting it here ., so here it goes ., i just hope you'll love it the way i did :)

"A Simple Gesture" Mark was walking home from school one day when he noticed the boy ahead of him had tripped and dropped all of the books he was carrying along with two sweaters, a baseball bat , a glove and a smalll tape recorder. Mark knelt down and helped the boy pick up the scattered articles. Since they were going the same way, he helped to carry the burden. As they walked Mark discovered the boys name was Bill, that he loved video games, baseball, and history, that he was having alot of trouble with his other subjects and that he had just broken up with his girlfriend. They arrived at Bill's home first and Mark was invited in for a coke and watch some TV. The afternoon passed pleasantly with a few laughs and some shared small talk, then Mark went home. They continued to see each other around school, had lunch together once or twice. They ended up at the same High school where they had brief contacts over the years. Finally the long awaited senior year came, and three weekends before graduation, Bill asked Mark if they could talk. Bill reminded him of the day years ago when they had first met. "Do you ever wonder why was carrying so many things from school that day?" asked Bill. "You see, I cleaned out my locker because I didnt want to leave a mess for anyone else. I had stores away some of my mother's pills and I was going home to commit suicide. But after we spent the time together I realized that if I had, I would have missed that time and so many others that might follow. So you see, Mark, when you picked up my books for me that day, you did alot more.
